So, how big is she? I'm still annoyed with last week's nonsensical size comparison that I didn't have much motivation to guess this week, so I just stuck with my zucchini guess. Joe went with cucumber... I guess I should have played off the pomegranate size because now she's a grapefruit! I love our little grapefruit, but I do miss our pomegranate.
I have still been trying to find her heartbeat with a stethoscope...I'm not having any luck yet, but she's cracking me up because when I place the stethoscope on my belly she continues to kick it! BULLSEYE! (if she's awake, that is) It's so funny to me. One time I swear all four of her limbs tried to kick it off my belly. It startles me and I jump back, and that makes me laugh bc I feel like she's winning. It's such a weird feeling in the best, most awesomest way!
If my shirt is tight enough, which it seems like most of them are at this point, you can see her move through my shirt sometimes.
When I can tell she's awake, if the time is appropriate, I'll play some classical music for her. Some days I'll put it on even if she doesn't seem like she's awake. Either way, she seems to react at the first song. ;-)
Well, we haven't started the nursery yet, but we will be soon. Yesterday, we bought the paint! But, I'm writing this blog in what will soon be the nursery, bc right now it is our office. Our messy, paper-filled office, ugh.
Oh, and by the way, there are 138 days 'til Christmas....just saying. ;-)
Anyway, here are some pictures from this week:
We finally got some furniture for our patio! We're still looking for a table, but those rockers are GREAT!
Joe bought me this "FRIENDS" shirt last year. It's one of my favorite shirts... It used to flow a little more than this... anyway, I asked him to take a picture of me wearing it. He goes to take the picture and says, "...with your belly hanging out?" Like I can see the bottom of my belly, first of all, and secondly, YES! THIS IS WHAT I LOOK LIKE NOW!
We both started to laugh hysterically. That's why my face is smirking, I'm trying not to laugh.

My love... he's so darn cute!
And me sitting. My mother insisted on taking this picture (mid-unrelated-convo might I add). I still don't think she believes I'm pregnant, as much as she talks about Johanna and brings her a gift each time she visits, I still think my mom is in awe by my growing belly. Heck, so am I!
And here we are at 24 weeks! My love bug is getting cozy!
So, I ate some fruit snacks and I think she likes them as much as me!!! And she's a Yankees' fan (that's what we were watching while I was recording)...
(I am wearing my bathing suit... my belly just takes over...I'm not naked!)
