Week 14

What a week!
On May 26th I got a phone call from my doctor that the blood work came back within normal limits and that the gender envelope is ready to be picked up! So, I went and picked it up and discussed with Joe when he got home whether we should open it or wait.  I should have known that he wouldn't have much of any input on this decision.  "We either open it or we don't. It's just an envelope!"  So, I decided to call Barrie and she so kindly offered to take the envelope and surprise us with a reveal.  I told her I liked that idea and Joe dropped the envelope off to her the following day... and from THAT day on I can't stop wondering!!!! Aunt Barrie likes to tell me it's an eggplant... I'll give her an eggplant! I'll plant an egg right on her face!  Just kidding.  I'm happy she is doing this and am looking forward to what she has rolled up her sleeve for us. :-)

Also, I started to feel .... something... idk if it's that little hand waving at me or just my belly growing, but it was something.  But it's been a few days since I've felt anything... where'd ya go???

One night I thought I felt something and Joe said, "It's all in your head."  It'll probably all be in his head the day he holds his child.

Oh, and as far as my decision with this reveal.... a few people are furious with me (because they don't know yet and have to wait longer)... Chamin and Cheryl. Sorry, but I love you!!! The text from Cheryl (below) came in as I was updating this week's blog, coincidentally.  ;-)  The reveal should be around the 14th.

Oh, and they both are certain it's a girl.
My mom is certain it's a boy.
My father hasn't made a guess, but he did comment that the ultrasound looks like a boy.

Any other guesses out there???

Oh yea, and I puked up a Granny Smith apple today. Kid doesn't like fruit! I can't keep apples or watermelon down.   Also, our little tangerine is now the size of a .... I had guessed peach, Joe guessed grapefruit (he's crazy).... nectarine!! I love my little nectarine, but I sure do miss my fluttery tangerine.
