She grew from a mango to a ...ready for this? I guessed papaya, Joe guessed grapefruit... we're not getting any better at this! She's a banana! Apparently now they start measuring from head to toe as opposed to crown to rump. I love my 'naner, but I do miss my little mango! Btw I bought a mango this week and it was DELICIOUS!
I'm still experiencing back pain... left side all the way to my toes. All I can say about it is I hope it eases up! :-/
So, she's moving a lot more lately (although I'm missing a lot of it from being so tense from the back pain, but when I finally get comfy and relax, my little girl gives me sweet kisses...or kicks). I caught one of her little kicks the other day:
Joe and I have decided to share our little girl's name. We had 2 names that we both had on our name choices list. The reason we landed on the one we did is because I really wanted a name that had the root John (for my father). I also really liked the nickname JoJo (like her father). I also felt it was important to incorporate all of her grandparents. So, my father is John, Joe's mother's middle name is Ann, my mother's middle name is Marie, and Azzarello is from Joe's father. So we will have a Daddy's little girl from a Daddy's little girl:
Johanna Marie Azzarello
"JoJo" or my Johanna Banana!
She's got a syrian root...seriously. And her name means "God is Gracious" or "God's gracious gift."
So, in my research of the name origin I discovered that some ladies with the name Johanna go by "Jenny"!!!!! That's me! She's got her daddy, her mommy, and all 4 grandparents all wrapped into one name! I fell in love with the name after all those discoveries/connections.
Years ago, I said if I had a girl I would name her Jayla because those are my initials- JLA "Jayla"... welp, everything changes when you have a kid, right?! JoJo is way more significant.
;-)
And here we are at 20 weeks! <3
