Week 21

Our banana grew into ...... I had guessed zucchini, Joe guessed squash.... a carrot! We have a carrot! I love our little carrot, but I sure do miss my johanni banani!

Not much has really happened this week... except for my transforming belly button. Also, I am feeling her moving around more and more each week. She's all over the place. One minute she's kicking my right side and then before I know it she's kicking my left side. Sometimes she even does these double kicks or punches. Grandma even witnessed one on the beach this week. I think she likes grapes because whenever I eat them she moves around for the longest time. She also likes when I sunbathe and expose my belly (when I'm alone).  She likes the heat...and no clothes.... great...

So we know the typical delivery surprises.... the gender and name.... but there are still so many unknowns that I think about constantly:
What color hair will she have? Will it be curly or straight? (Her daddy predicts dark, curly hair. Mommy is unsure!)
What color eyes will she have? Will she have good vision (like her daddy) or need glasses/contacts (like her mommy)?
Will she be fussy?
Will she be on time??? (mommy worries about that one!)
Will she have little hands with a crooked pinky (like her mommy and Uncle B)?  How about her feet? Will she have a tiny pinky toe like her mommy? (Her Gitto just says, "no fungus!")
Will she have hair when she's born? (Mommy wants to put barrettes in it!)

Some things I'm pretty sure about: she's going to be funny, she's going to love her daddy so much, and she's going to get so very many kisses from her Mommy!  Oh, and her mommy is going to teach her the best ways to get her father... GOT YOU!!!! We always win.

Of course the only main concern is that she is healthy and happy.  One thing is for sure... she is so loved. Our little love bug <3

Here we are at 21 weeks
                      my belly button slit.

And here are pictures I took this week of Joe feeding the ducks.  I just love these pictures and I just love that man. He's so cute! (That courageous duck almost bit his hand off...it was really funny... GOT YOU!)
