Week 22

Woooohoooo!!!!! I SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!! First time in who knows how long.  Maybe it's because now she is the size of a ...... I went with zucchini again, Joe went with cucumber... we're really not good at this game... PAPAYA!!! I love my little back-pain-relieving papaya! But I do miss my little carrot...

My little girl has been having conversations with me this week.  One afternoon we were lounging on the deck and I could feel her squirming so I tapped my belly on the right side and said, "Are you over here?" and she kicked right where I tapped! So then I tapped my left side and said, "Where are you now? Over here?" and she kicked on the left side! And then I tapped once more on my right side and she kicked over there again. It was so funny and cute! Daddy wanted to know what was so funny... He doesn't understand...I tried explaining... over his head. Mommy and JoJo's first inside joke. ;-) Literally. 

Me: This outfit makes me look pregnant.

Joe: (looking at me like I'm crazy)...Yea....it's the outfit...

We are doing a Leapfrog theme for the nursery and there are blue dragonflies in the pattern, just like this little guy! 

Our pathetic no furniture patio... Daddy does good work, though! 

And there we are at 22 weeks! The other day I had my belly pressed up on Joe and she was kicking because it was TIME TO EAT! And I said, "You feel her? She's hungry. She's saying 'excuse me, it's hungry in here!' just like me."  He said, "Oh, great."  Then she kicked and he says, "...yea, I felt that one." Then 4 kicks later he yells, "Ok that's enough! It's weird! It's weird!" And he squirmed away. 

Mommy and JoJo 1- Daddy 0!
